Eddy Current - Theory & Applications
There are two comprehensive eddy current testing training programs available for professionals seeking to enhance their skills. The eddy current theory program provides an interactive practice quiz where students can go back to the correct answers. It also includes a random practice quiz to identify proper and incorrect answers, as well as a general practice test to highlight the correct and incorrect responses. The “Test” questions do not reveal answers, ensuring an accurate assessment of knowledge. Upon completion, the program calculates the total correct score and provides a printable form with space for a Level III signature.
The Eddy Current Testing Training Course will improve practical hands-on skills for detecting surface and subsurface defects in non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, brass, stainless steel, and titanium. Students will be trained on how to measure electrical conductivity, identify cracks, measure wall thickness, and conduct in-service tube inspections using eddy current testing. This hands-on method allows students to become fully prepared to take the Level I & II certification examinations.
